Simon Gibson

The Queen is Dead to me is a huge thing to me for many reasons. It is an album I have grown up since I was as young as I can remember being my Dad's favourite LP so many of the songs featured were ingrained into my brain from a young age. As I got into music more and more through my school years I discovered The Smiths in a big way and that album was on a constant repeat with both Morrissey's lyrics and Johnny Marr's guitar all leaving me in awe upon every listen. It's safe to say that album has had a huge influence on my life and I thank for The Smiths for that eternally.
