My favourite album ever, it is a beautiful, intense and emotional masterpiece. I love it completely, the lyrics and melodies are perfect together. Some of the most emblematic Smiths songs are from this album and these songs have accompanied me through many different times and situations. The beginning featuring the self titled song has the energy to prepare for the next ones, which are funny, tragic or clever (even all of these), but each of them has its very own beauty. Even though I love every single song, I also must confess that my favourite part of the album is the end. 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out' is my most cherished song, in the most special level, and 'Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others' is melodically perfect with chords that seem to be taken from paradise. Happy 30th anniversary to an incredible piece of art that will last forever.
