Looking back on thirty years since The Queen Is Dead was released, one of the most amazing things to point out is that this timeless masterwork has continued to stay relevant and has never stopped resonating with a massive cross section of listeners. This classic has continually intrigued new followers and believers since its original release date. It’s amazing to me that now, thirty years later, listeners half my age are able and willing to revel in the beauty, the craftsmanship and the brilliance of all the songs on this amazing record. One of the most important and astounding works of musical art from my lifetime. A true masterpiece.
