Favourite track: 'There Is A Light That Never Goes Out'

The Queen Is Dead is an absolute masterpiece from the first drop of the needle to end of the dead wax on side 2. The impact that The Queen Is Dead had on me changed me musically. This jangly album still plays to this day on my turntable regularly. If it wasn't for this album I wouldn't have been influenced to check out other music from the Manchester scene at the time.
